| Job/Group Overview: The Global Corporate Technology Reference Data team in our client is responsible for setting the strategy, developing and supporting systems used for reference data management and provision across all business lines. Core areas of reference data coverage include client data, instrument data, book data, pricing data, corporate action related data, as well as the internal access controls around this data. You will join the team and interact with a wide range of internal clients across the organisation, including Operations, Equity and Fixed Income markets, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Risk, and all other areas requiring reference data, providing pragmatic and strategic solutions. The current team has approximately 100 people, split across London, Mumbai, New York, Tokyo and Singapore providing subject matter expertise, functional and development capacity. A Global Reference Data Programme has been initiated to provide available, timely, and consistent data that is essential to support business growth in terms of client engagement, decision support, execution and capital utilization. The Corporate Technology Reference Data Team is being expanded to deliver this critical project Project / Service Description: Our client’s book model is fragmented across the 4 regions. This leads to data completeness and aggregation issues, with resulting tactical, inefficient mapping tools to try and merge incompatible hierarchies. There is no one authoritative source for book hierarchy data. To enhance our client’s competitive ability, the group needs to migrate to a common book structure, utilizing a Trusted Source of book data, supported by a common operating model and control framework. This will enable the client to source a complete view of material risk data across business lines, and allow the delivery of timely, agile and accurate reporting across the client’s group. We are building a new version of our book system to support a common book structure, mappings to the legacy book structure and automation to reduce manual maintenance.
